Our Volunteers

Buena Vista Regional Medical Center volunteers can be found throughout the hospital and community performing a variety of duties.

Volunteers are trained yearly and are required to fulfill confidentiality and health requirements prior to becoming a part of our team.

Coffee Shop / Café Latte

Volunteers serve one morning. Shifts are 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Gift Shop

Volunteers usually work one morning or afternoon shift per month. 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. or 12:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Information Desk

Volunteers greet patients and visitors and they direct them to appropriate areas. One half day, once per month. 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Seasonal Decorating

Volunteers set up and take down Christmas decorations throughout the hospital. Meet two times during Christmas season.
