What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational Therapy is a science driven, evidence-based service that helps people live life to its fullest by preventing or living better with illness, injury or disability.

Occupational Therapy focuses on helping individuals reach their highest level of independence in the areas of activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming), work/productivity, and leisure activities (hobbies, play).

The goal of an Occupational Therapist is to help people participate in activities of everyday life.
