Amber Shupe, PMHNP-BC, recently graduated from Allen College of Waterloo with her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License and will continue to serve patients at Buena Vista Regional Medical Center’s Hope Harbor.

She will be working alongside Sharon Arndt-Nelson, PMHNP-BC, to provide psychiatric services to area nursing homes and patients at Hope Harbor. Shupe has been working in Hope Harbor since 2018.

“As a native of northwest Iowa, it is a joy to continue to work with patients at BVRMC’s Hope Harbor,” says Shupe. “I look forward to building my knowledge base while helping to improve the quality of our patient’s lives.”

After graduating from WITCC’s nursing program, Shupe earned her BSN from the University of Iowa and her Masters in Nursing from St. Joseph’s College of Maine. Her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License will allow her to provide further services to patients.
