4th of July Breastfeeding and Diaper Changing Station

Katie Schwint | July 2nd, 2018

BVRMC will provide a breastfeeding and diaper station during the Star Spangled Spectacular Celebration on July 4. Located between Sunset and Chautauqua Parks, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. moms can take a break to feed their babies. Diaper changing stations will also be available – which is not just for moms.

Amanda Thompson, BVRMC First Embrace Obstetrics nurse has led the efforts to setup and schedule BVRMC volunteers to assist at the station.

“Sometimes a parents needs a quiet and calmer setting to feed and change their child. We hope the station gives parents a chance to meet their baby’s needs without missing the fun of the Star Spangled Spectacular,” states Amanda.
