Buena Vista Regional Medical Center (BVRMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Sather, BSN, RN, as its new Chief Clinical Officer (CCO), succeeding Michele Kelly, who will retire in June.
Having previously served as the Process Improvement Coordinator from 2010 to 2014, Sather is excited to return to BVRMC.
“I am incredibly honored to step into the role of Chief Clinical Officer at BVRMC,” said Sather. “BVRMC has always represented a standard of excellence in health care that I deeply respect. I’m grateful for the opportunity to rejoin this exceptional team and continue serving the community I’ve been proud to call home my entire life. I look forward to building on the strong foundation established by Michele Kelly and leading with compassion, collaboration and a shared commitment to quality care.”
A native of Sioux Rapids, where she currently resides, Sather began her nursing career with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Iowa Lakes Community College in 1998, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Iowa in 2014.
Sather brings extensive leadership experience to the role, most recently serving as Administrator of Buena Vista County Public Health & Homecare for the past four years. Her leadership has consistently reflected a patient-centered approach and a deep commitment to community health.
“Julie has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication and clinical expertise throughout her career,” said Rob Colerick, CEO of BVRMC. “Her deep understanding of patient care and passion for our mission make her an ideal choice for this role. We are excited to welcome her back and are confident she will continue to elevate the quality of care we deliver.”
