Buena Vista Regional Medical Center is proud to announce its recognition as one of 386 Cleanest Hospitals in the United States by Becker’s Hospital Review. BVRMC is one of only 12 hospitals in Iowa who were recognized with a 5-star cleanliness rating.

The list is based on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. This national, standardized survey captures the perspectives of hospital patients regarding their inpatient experiences, with cleanliness playing a vital role in overall patient satisfaction. The ratings reflect surveys collected between October 2023 and September 2024 and were last updated on August 6.
