Buena Vista Regional Medical Center invites community members, partners and media to attend a groundbreaking ceremony on Tuesday, May 5 at 12:15 p.m. outside of the hospital main entrance.
The ceremony will mark the beginning of construction on BVRMC’s new medical office building, an exciting project that underscores BVRMC’s commitment to advancing health care services and strengthening care for the region.
The approximately 30,000-square-foot facility will bring together all UnityPoint Clinic Family Medicine providers and the BVRMC Pharmacy in one convenient, patient-centered location. Construction is anticipated to be completed in 2027.
“This groundbreaking represents an important step forward for our hospital and the communities we serve,” said Rob Colerick, CEO of BVRMC. “We are proud to continue investing in the future of local health care and ensuring patients have access to high-quality care close to home.” Attendees will hear brief remarks, celebrate the start of construction, and join hospital leadership in commemorating this milestone moment.
