Respiratory Therapy

The Respiratory Therapy Department has a Pulmonary Function Lab which performs a wide range of Pulmonary Function testing.

All the staff are Respiratory Therapists with ACLS certification and work closely with doctors to assess and treat patients.

Individuals complaining of shortness of breath can be evaluated in our testing lab.

A Sensormedics V-MAX is available for a wide variety of testing.

  • Pulmonary Function – Before and After Bronchodilator (complete)
  • Maximum Volume Ventilation
  • Single Breath DLCO

  • Pulmonary Clinic – Specialists from Fort Dodge Pulmonologists and Sioux City Pulmonologists provide services at BVRMC.

The trained specialists in the Respiratory Therapy Department work closely with doctors to assess and treat patients.
