Increase in Flu Causes Visitor Restrictions at BVRMC

Elissa Doebel | January 27th, 2020

Due to the severity of the cold and flu season, Buena Vista Regional Medical Center has placed immediate restrictions on visitations for the health and safety of everyone.

There will be a limit of two visitors per patient at any given time and no visitors under the age of 18 will be allowed in patient areas unless special arrangements have been with the department manager or house supervisor.

Please do not visit a patient if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, headache, nausea or diarrhea.

These restrictions do not apply to Hospice patient visitors.

These restrictions will be in place until further notice. Everyone at BVRMC appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
