STORM LAKE – Buena Vista Regional Medical Center is announcing Dr. John Armstrong has signed paperwork to be a general surgeon starting sometime around September 2017. Dr. Armstrong will be working with Dr. Jason Dierking at BVRMC covering general surgical patients and sharing on-call responsibilities. More details on his practice and announcement of community open house will be announced closer to Dr. Armstrong’s starting date.
Dr. Armstrong grew up in Storm Lake and is the son of Gary and Patricia Armstrong. His wife Lindsay, also a Storm Lake native, is the daughter of Doug and Joanie Clausen. They have three children. Will is four, Blair is two and Quinn is five months old.
“I am excited to be joining the team at BVRMC and working with Dr. Dierking. I look forward to helping the people in the Storm Lake area and to be back in my hometown,” states Dr. Armstrong.
