What Is Hospice...Its About Life
Hospice is a program of physical, emotional and spiritual care for a person and their families with a life limiting illness. Emphasis of Hospice is on comfort and quality of life. It is the goal of Hospice to enable individuals to continue life fully with meaning, dignity and minimal disruption of normal activities. Care is provided where the patient is - home, hospital or nursing home.
BVRMC Hospice is a Medicare-certified, non-profit organization.
Referrals can be made by anyone: family, friends, physician or clergy.

Physician directed care
RN Nursing Care
RN available "on call" basis - 24 hours a day / 7 days a week
IV therapy as needed.
Speech - Language Therapy
Medical supplies, appliances, pharmaceuticals related to terminal illnesses
Durable Medical Equipment
Short Term Inpatient Medical Care
Volunteer Services and Support
Follow-up Bereavement Support
Hospice volunteers are specially screened and trained individuals from the surrounding communities who provide a variety of services:
