Spiritual Needs:
Our organizational policies and procedures allow for the expression of spiritual beliefs and cultural practices as long as they do not harm others or interfere with the planned course of medical therapy for the patient. Volunteer Chaplains are on call at BVRMC.

Discharge Planning:
Illness or accident may require changes in lifestyle for you. You may need help in planning for changes in living arrangements or securing temporary care in your home when you leave the hospital. Nursing Staff will help you plan for any needed services.

Insurance/Financial Arrangements:
Hospital policy requires full payment of ALL ACCOUNTS. The following credit policies were made after careful thought. These policies must be followed by all patients if we are to be able to continue to give quality health care services to those in our area. The hospital will give medical care to all persons in need, regardless of race, creed, color, national origin or ability to pay.

Credit Policy:
The amount due is always  the personal responsibility of the patient or patient's representative regardless of insurance or other payment arrangements involved.
The hospital will file insurance claims for the patient upon receiving proper information from the patient or patient's representative at the time of services.
All pre-certification with insurance companies needs to be done by the patient. The hospital staff will help when possible.
All self-pay accounts and balances remaining after insurance are due and payable within 30 days of first statement.
The method of payment will be verified with the responsible party prior to or upon discharge.
